Thank you for joining our growing community of profitable traders!

Here is a simple and quick step-by-step checklist on how to get access to LuxSignals:

1. To start using LuxSignals you need a [TradingView.com](https://www.tradingview.com/?aff_id=133050) account. [On the next page of this guide](/luxsignals/quick-start/publish-your-docs.md) we have explained how to create a **free** TradingView account. You **will never need to pay anything extra** for TradingView to use LuxSignals to its full potential. Read the orange box below for more details.
2. If you have a TradingView account, you have a Public TradingView username. If you can't find it, [please watch this video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbJaFBKMkas)
3. [In your personal LuxSignals acccount](https://luxsignals.com/account) you can grant yourself access to your TradingView account by entering your TradingView username. After you submitted it, please refresh your TradingView page to get instant access and you can follow the steps from the next page to see how we use LuxSignals.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Using another platform than TradingView?**

**No problem;** once you set up LuxSignals on TradingView you will be able to [automate the trades anyways](/luxsignals/focus/luxsignals-legacy/legacy-trading-bot-luxsignals.md) or [create alerts so you will get notified](/luxsignals/focus/luxsignals-legacy/legacy-signal-notifications.md) about all signals, **without ever using TradingView again or paying for it!**

In case you need a **real-time data subscription** for certain markets on TradingView, just send your receipt to [Luxy Support](https://www.luxsignals.com/luxy) (make sure to connect your account) and **we will cover it for you!**
{% endhint %}
